Edouard Benedictus (1878–1930) was a French artist, scientist, inventor and more - a true renaissance man! During the Art Deco movement, he became well known for his playful patterns and was commissioned by several leading designers to create prints for furnishings and textiles.

His love of science and nature are clearly on display here, in one of his most beloved series, "Relais 1930." These wonderful patterns add interest to any space and are sure to be a conversation starter!
