Séguy - Papillons

E. A. Séguy was a French artist and designer who produced several portfolios during the mid 1920s, featuring patterns inspired by botanicals, insects or butterflies.

The highly detailed prints were made using the labor-intensive, Pochoir technique (essentially stenciling by hand in multiple rounds using only one color at a time).

This collection features his Papillons (Butterflies), collected mostly in South America.
